    Just a quick question,
    As per name, im no girlie... But I was wondering, what are the consequences/aftermath of taking the after pill? Does the girls monthly cycle mess up, and what side effects does it have?

    Any advise much appreciated.

    Yes it can mess up your period.

    It can come later or earlier.

    Right, you'll get a few people later saying to you that "MAP is not birth control" (yes we know) "If you cant do IT right dont do it at all"...blah blah.

    Accidents do happen. MAP is not the nicest thing to take, both physically and psycologically.

    But I can see the point in taking it if you want to be say 90% effective, as sometimes it does fail.

    A period can happen anytime after taking the pill. Might bleed for a few days then nothing. Then her period might arrive on the date/week she was due anyways.

    This can mean having 2 "periods" in 1 month.

    This can also make a girl sick. Make sure she eats properly as she might get pretty wiped out.
