i'm having major trouble getting a new pc to get up and running.
i'm not sure what the problem is but i think fdisk mightn't be working right.

is there a windows based program available to format a hard drive to fat32,
as i am using winxp, and only formats to ntfs.

    :dunno:

    FDisk does it :)
Boot up using a (win95/8 if possible)floppy disk, and run fdisk. It'll then delete your partitions as you tell it to, and then you can re-create them again.

When XP is installing you're given the option to use NTFS or FAT32 - et vóila! :D
