    Hi folks,

I videoed a film on Network2 last week. 'Life is all you get' (German - orig. 'Das Leben ist eine Baustelle').

I must have programmed in the wrong times as I am missing the last 5-10 minutes of the film.

If any of you good souls has seen the end could you fill me in on what happened!
Or if anybody can suggest a good website which gives complete film plots.

    1. Did Jan get back together with Vera
    2. Did he get the results of his HIV test
    3. Did he pay the fine and keep out of jail?
    4. Anything interesting happen to the other characters (his niece Jenny, his flat mate Buddy, the quiet greek girl looking for her brother).

    Much appreciated,

    Dave

i watched it too, twice! its a really good film...ok, i'll try answer your qts....yup, they got back together..he ran after her on a tram to explain to her how he was confused about everything....it didnt show him getting the results of the test, just showed them in the hospital, but they came out happy so i'd say he was negative.....well vera gave him 1000 dm from the talent show to pay for his fine.....nothing much happened with the others....buddy went on the talent show...and it showed the greek girl on the ''Bitte meld sich'' show, trying to contact her bro...in the end, they are all happily skating over a frozen river, so i guess it works out ok:)

    Brilliant! Thanks for that.
I was afraid it was one of those films where everything is left hanging in the air.
Glad to hear things worked out for them!

You should check out 'Goodbye Lenin' if you haven't seen it already, its by the same directory and a good quirky film too (watch out for the chicken suit making a reappearance).

    Thanks again,

    Dave
