    I am going to be starting my own company in the very near future, just to put an official front away from the foxing :) I need to put together a business plan for a large web dev project. Anyone recommnd good resources on the best way to put together a business plan? I am new to this field...

    This might be better in the Business/economy/finance board, but check the AIB business site, they have a web application that will build a business plan for you.

    you need to speak to an accountant to formulate a buisness plan. Its all well and good having a plan that you think will work but you need to realise its commercial viability. If you need any advice in realtion to the finance side of things pm me.

    buy a book called the small business handbook, by philip and sandra webb

    it comes with a cd that has everything you ned for business plan templates, shareholders agreements, sales forcasting, hr documents.
    absolutely everything.
    it costas about 12 quid on amazon and it is invaluable.published by prentice hall.

    you dont really need an accountant. just need to understand you market, your business, and budgets :)
