I think it sits well with the order of the other 5 films. ..Now all we have to do is wait another year...DOH!

As titles by Lucas go it's certainly not the worst. Plus it's got a nice echo of the title of Episode 6.

i hope they put some effort into this one, the first 3 were excellent (that is, episode 4, 5 and 6), I liked the 4th one enough (meaning episode 1) but they need less cute stuff in the movie. they try to appeal to everyone and appeal to no one in my book. Also, it seems the effects were better in the first 3 (episode 4, 5 and 6) and went downhill in the following (um, preceeding) episodes becuse the effects were too much over the top. Also, it really irritates that in the earlier (meaning the last three (4, 5 and 6)) episodes the technology was less advanced that it was in the later (previous (1 and 2)) episodes becuse they were made after the other three but happened before them.

I thought they did well in this regard, I didn't see many instances where I thought the level of technology was more advanced in episodes 1 and 2 than it was in 4, 5, or 6. For example, compare the walkers and shuttles at the end of episode 2 to the walkers and shuttles from the original trilogy and compare the nubian fighters to X-Wings. I could be missing something though, some examples maybe?

I think its the most 'Star Wars' sounding of all the new titles.. I remember when I first heard "the Phantom Menace" I cringed, and again with "Attack of the Clones". This title is more or less perfect for Star Wars, and has a kind of darkness about it reminiscent of Empire Strikes Back.

There are some new pics from Ep 3 in the current Star Wars magazine, I had a flick through in Easons the other day and there's a cool shot of all the new Wookies. Plus, a pic of Anakin standing on the ship (the Alderaan something) that the droids and Leia were on as A new Hope begun..
