We are staying in an old hotel just south of Antibe besides 'something le pin' near the casino?

Anyway, restuarants, walks, beaches etc. and any other recomendations welcomed.

    Cant wait....

    It's Antibes.

    And Juan-les-pins.

    Bring money. Lots of it.

If you go into the Harbour in Antibes and walk all the way to the end there's an entrance to another private harbour (you can just walk in though). There's usually a row of about 15 of the best boats you'll ever see. They're all registered to Georgetown in the Caymen Islands too.

There's a Picasso museum there, they have paintings by a few other artists as well. It's small but it's worth a visit.

just spent 5 months there (well up the road in villeneuve loubet) working and hated it :(
nice for a short break however..
Eze is a lovely little town, on the other side of Nice..
    Monaco is also nice..
Big market in San Remo in Ital every Saturday .. good for leather goods.

    Just back.

    - Bus from Airport to Antibes is about 40 minutes but rush our traffic can double this so be carefull if taking to the airport.
    - The walk around the Cap (smugglers route is brilliant)
    - Food is fantastic
    - The beaches are crowded but you will always get a place so no need to pay.
    - We spend time in both part of the town and Antibes is more quite and stylish while the other side is much more glitsy.
    - Everything is walking distance.
    - Lots of Hotels not clearly marked on the internet but available when arrived. We stayed in this place called the little castle, its ok.
    - I would not stay outside of the town if you can avoid it, we say lots of places along the coast towards Nice and none of it looked brilliant but I did not stay long enough to find out.
    - Just take your swiming bits, suntan lotion and a towel and head off for the day.
    - bring some very light clothes...its about 30.
    - its a very worthwhile long weekend
    - prices are expensive but no more than in Ireland. Went to one of the top places to eat (60 Euro for Lobster menu, 30 euro for starter, min price for wine about 40 euro...but in the end we ended up eating what we wanted and paying about 130...for what was about a 6 course meal (bread with olive, cold soup, starter, main course, cheese, desert and finally home made biscuits and bits and pieces)...however on average we paid a lot less than in Ireland with about 10 to 15 for main course.
    - good bottle of Rose from supermarket is about $5.
    - go to the market and buy local produce and have a picnic.
    - clothes shopping can be cheap..unless you go for the new stock which is about twice the price.
    - I wish Dublin still had some of the atmosphere encountered in Antibes
