Good luck to all us brave and dedicated boardser's who've resisted the urge to study right up the last dying seconds, isn't it amazing how flawlessly you can substitute “brave” for “stupid” in that sentence?

And as we face into whatever “cert.” that has our parents on our back, I’d just like to advise the h@x0r5 amongst us that going into honours English with phrases like: “! 0wnz 5h@k35p3@r3 at TFC” and “d@t p03m w@5 |337” aren’t “A” grade material.

but rest easy for there is always next year...and netcafes aren't picky about hiring "educated" people, nothing important can be taught, though counting has turned out useful...

I have honours English tomorrow so I really should be studying right now....

All I did was study maths for 2 hours today :P

Does that mean you'll give someone a job even if they have no LC ??

If you cant pass the LC you really must be lazy as ****e. Noone who could find their way to boards.ie and operate it reliably could not pass the LC.

Its important, theres no doubt about that, but its not as important as family, health, friends, a million other things.

Dont get completely stressed about it and you'll be fine.
When I did the LC one bloke in another school went a bit mad and sharpened two pencils, stuck them up his nose and rammed his head into his desk.

Now you cant tell me its worth that! smile.gif

If you fail, repeat. If you dont do as well as you would have liked... get used to it, the rest of life sucks worse smile.gif

who says they operate it reliably, and there's always the chroniclly illiterate who fail at everything...

    i'm a 1/3 through, this time tommorrow it'll be 1/2...

honours maths P1 was easyest in recent memory, and pass irish is delightfully simple, there are chinese peasents who could pass it...

i dossed around for 5 years, failed everything in my mocks (0 points!) and got 225 in the real thing. thank god Tipp Inst was here, cos i'd not have gotten in anywhere else.

so in conclusion, got to Tipp Inst and spend all day on the boards and playing CS!
