Right, this is probably just me, but did anyone notice that the two best films on last night (Thursday) Were interrupted by the news? Both Beverly hills cop (net2) and Face/ off (BBC1). Yet tonight (Friday) on net2 from 9:30 till 12:30 theres inspector morse and the nissan irish open, no news. Is this because the majority of viewers will be watching these films and will probably end up watching the news? Its already bad enuff watching advertisements. But this is the news they choose to show you, about our money being wasted on tribunals and so forth, and Americas might in todays world. Most ppl i kno react angrily to A / Film interrupted and B/ Outrageous crap on the news. Sick of it.

IIRC, News on Two is never shown on fridays. Late news is on RTÉ One instead.

Although, Breaks for the news during films does **** me of too. RTÉ, BBC & particularly ITV are well known for it.

he does have a point though. they will interupt a film for the news, but not golf?

stopping a film for 1/2 hour completely ruins it imo. its impossible to get into it for the last 3/4 hour.
