    Hi All,

I was wondering if anyone had experience dealing with http://www.decks.co.uk
I am tempted to order a full DJ set from them wanted to see if anyone had dealt with them and what they thought etc as I am worried in case there are problems.

    Please let me know

    Cheers

if you buy from abroad and something goes wrong with the decks youre gonna have to pay for the postage and packaging yourself to send them back over to them, as well as their postage for sending them back to you, plus it will take at least an extra month for servicing, coz you being abroad gives them an excuse not to bother doing it til theyre bored

buy in ireland, theres not that much of a price difference

Look up Thomann, they're this German superstore for musical equipment. They don't stock all brands, but they do have stanton stuff for fairly cheap. Be careful though, I'm not sure if they include stylus in their turntable price. Shipping is supposedly only €24 no matter what weight it is within reason, according to a friend who buy's from them all the time.

I just used them to get a full DJ set-up, i saved E85 per deck and E60 off the mixer compared to prices from my local shop. The Delivery is E23, no matter what you order? One thing to take note of is the prices shown have 16% vat on them but you will be paying 21% so have a Calc handy.

It took about 2 days for delivery, but the "packing" took about 3 days?
