    I've kind of switched from drinking copious amounts of coke every day to knocking back a bottle or two of this stuff. I'm assuming it's better for you but does anyone know how better? and if it isn't a good idea to drink to much of this?

    If you are just drinking it for 'thirst', then two bottles a day is probably no better for you than two bottles of coke. Water would be much better. If you can't drink water 'neat', something like sugar-free Kia Ora would be better for you.

    If on the other hand, you were previously drinking Coke as a "sports" drink (i.e. before, during or after activity), then Powerade would be a major improvement, and in some cases better than water.

    My own opinion would be that Powerade is a very effective re-hydration fuel and can be an excellent compliment to water during endurance sports where you are rapidly depleting your bodys water stores. As a daily drink, though, I would say that the overdose of sugars, carbs, minerals, additives etc could not be good for you long term.

    I find it much better for quenching thirst than water when Im exercising anyway - must be doing something right =)
