StarCraft over tcp/ip

    Any one know of a way to get starcraft 1.05 to work over a lan on tcp/ip? Ive tried battlelan but it doesnt work well. Our pc's are user rights only and its w2k.
    Any ideas?anyone?

    heat and mplayer used to offer a solution to this, erm you should be able to find a freware version, they emulate the ipx for the game and actually route it over tcp/ip....but i think both of them have since discontinued the service....

    [EDIT]A quick google and it seems that zone still offers this(or so was on some other BB)

    Also on a lan you shouldn't need anything, 1.05 has UDP lan support doesn't it?

    Whats wrong with BW1.08? Works on Bnet for my group. Not sure why but BW1.09 doesn't like our network.

    i'd be guessing the reason he doesn't want to upgrade probally means its a dodgy copy, the newer ones all have UDP support, which will run under 2k fine without admin privliges........can't think of any other reason for not upgrading...
