Ages ago, I suggested to Amazon that it might be a good idea for them to add an "already own it" button to their "recommendations" list, (where they recommend stuff to you based on your past purchases)... said it might help make their recommendations more accurate and helpful.
Lo' and behold... they've done it! Well... on the US site anyway- everything seems to get it's debut there... Dunno how long it is since they've implemented it, because I don't check the US site all that often... but kinda strange that I only just got a mail thanking me for my suggestion and saying it was being used
