    just for your information, IRL-FCA of MOHAA fame has set up a COD server. Very good ping times and generally playing HQ.

    I tried to join last night but my ping was too high for the server.Some thought should be given for those of us unfortunate enough to have signed up to utv-clicksilver with our 180-230 pings :(
    I'll have another go tonight .My tag is CelticWarrior =FFS= ;)

    In ASE this server is showing up as a UK based server.
    Is this the case?

    I'm not too sure where this server is physically located (but I would imagine it's in England)

    Do you need a broadband connection for this multiplayer to work? or can i try with a standard 56k connection- will be on tonight if i can

    I think alot of COD servers will kick automatically if your ping goes above 150 which it will if you are on 56k :(

    thebigmc there are 56k only servers running COD and many other games.
    When i was on 56k i found it great that 56k users were being catered for.
    Im on ISDN now,not exactly the fastest connection but i ping between 30-100.
