    Jank

    I have a PowerMac 8600 here doing nothing. If adonis falls through, give me a shout.

    Specs here;

    http://www.everymac.com/systems/apple/powermac/stats/powermac_8600_200.html

    Currently configured with

    2GB Scsi HD
    CD Drive
    iXMicro Display Card
    Mac/PC Display Adaptor
    10/100 Network Card
    96 MB RAM
    AV I/O Module
    Floppy drive.
    OS9 installed

    Yours for an offer around €160. Carriage at your cost. I'm based in Dundalk.

    Can send you photos of machine internals & screenshots if required.

    Great upgrade potential (8 RAM slots, G3/G4 Upgrade capable)

    I also have a 9600 with G3/400 Processor upgrade if you're interested in that as well. I had the lot for sale here;

    http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?s=&threadid=161978

    You might be interested in tha package? (What's nice is that they are very similar machines so parts are more or less interchangable (RAM, HDs, Power Supplies etc.).

    How does it run?

    Seems very good though I would be very interested in the 8600 but the 9600 seems a tad expensive though

    Would you do a deal for both of them?
    Im not to bothered about extra's to be honest unless its usefull to us

    How much would a courier/delivery cost to cork?

    I'll PM you my details. Give me a call at the office tomorrow.

    I'll do a deal on both machines, particularly if you are not interested in many of the internals. 9600 that bit more expensive because of G3 upgrade card, upgraded video card etc.

    Machines run great. 9600 in daily use, 8600 powered up less frequently but still serviceable.

    Memory for these machines is dirt cheap right now in US (128MB for about €15). You could max out the 9600 to 1.5GB of RAM very cost effectively and see a significant boost in performance!

    Carriage would be in the region of €30 I'd say though I could meet you in Dublin if that was convenient.

    As stated, give me a call tomorrow.

    Peter
