No Sat Signal - 11222H

I get 'no satellite signal received' on the Horror Channel all the time. Out of curiosity I tried some other channels on the same frequency (Golf TV, Overload etc) and they give the same thing. What would cause this to happen? [Sky+ Pace Box]

Could be cable, LNB or even the receiver itself. If you had access to another receiver you could try that in place of your existing box.

I still use my non-Sky+ receiver for FTV. I'll swap the cards and see what happens. Thanks for the suggestion.

So I swapped cards between my regular and Sky+ boxes and still getting no Sat Signal for Horror Channel etc. There's a tree about 20meters away in the direct line of the dish which is in full bloom this time of year. Could it be related? What's covered under the warranty, the box or the full install/upgrade? I'm covered until Sept.

Forgive me but swapping cards proves nothing, I suggested you swapped receivers

...amm...I'm a bit confused, maybe I worded it badly....My FTV receiver also gives no sat signal reveived on those channels. Both sky+ and ftv boxes give the same problem so wouldn't that rule out a receiver issue?

Sounds like it could be an LNB problem. I had the same problem with other frequencies and swapped LNB's. This seemed to solve my problem. But then the faulty LNB worked fine when put on another dish recieving a different satellite.

Ta. I wonder is the LNB covered under the 12 month warranty or just the receiver?

It should be the whole setup, I assume you have a digibox and it was fitted by sky and not a 3rd party?
