Pleasant fishing out from Carlingford Lough

    A good day's fishing was had yesterday (Sun 18th July) offshore, out from Carlingford Lough.
    Frentic activity as we hit a shoal of mackeral several times.
    Cod/Codling were biting but very few were of keeper size.
    A small octopus was also pulled up, clutching some mackeral feathers.
    Had a line out for tope also but nothing happening there.

    Any sharks to be seen? i heard theres a few Jaws wandering around those waters. Them waters down around carlingford lough.

    No wait, a minute, im being mistaken,,, that were the Pacific ocean. Aye, great big sharks out there.
