Great to see belgium back on the calendar! To celebrate, i have my seat in 'gold 2' nicely situated on eau rouge. Anyone else heading out for it? I'm using that campsite advertised on the circuits site. Anyone else gonna be there, can i bum a lift to the track each day for me and my mate? It takes an hour to walk! I'll give you cookies and apples and stuff, promise! :D

Yeah been there back in 2001 was an excellent circuit but wlaking around takes the longest of any of the tracks. Probably throws up the best race each year.

Was at Spa back in 1999 ..

Must say its an excellent venue .. We went without booking accomodation and ended up driving into a nice caravan park a mile outside Spa on the Friday afternoon and getting a 6 berth mobile home for the weekend. Couldn't believe our luck. Pool, Bar and Niteclub(ish) all on site. Made for a great weekend.

Went to Silverstone this year and it wasn't a patch on Spa.

Just booked tickets to go to Monza in 2 weeks time also... just so you's know I couldn't believe how cheap you can go ...

Dublin to Stanstead for €74 then Stanstead to Bergamo Airport in Milan for €102. Thats only €176 for Return Flights. Monza Sunday General Admission is only €50 so accomodation is the only problem. I booked a Hotel which cost €240 for a double room for 2 nights in Milan Centre, but if you camped it would be very cheap weekend.

jesus thats great value for your trip to monza, was in Spa a week before 9/11 happened. Was on a hill watching race had to ring home and ask it to be video taped as 30mins into that race hadnt a clue what was going on,it was when Ralf was left up on jacks at start of race hehe, in Spa had great craic there wore and Elvis wig and shades and i couldnt believe the attention i was getting with it.Had a bronze ticket which was ok as you could get to see the track but its a biggy.

Enjoy Monza V10... I've been there a couple of times (the last time was
for Heinz Harald's win for Jordan in 1999)... just a note on General Admission... the first time I went we had GA tickets and tried to go to
the Parabolica on race day.... it was impossible to get a good vantage point at 8am... There isn't much in the way of banking at Monza so I would definitely recommend you get there as early as you can (especially if you
want to be anywhere near a big screen)..

Also, if you are staying in Milan, there are regular free trains to the circuit
    on race day.

    Have a blast

PS. I agree about Spa, was there in '98 (another Jordan win), it definitely is
    the best circuit.

belgium was the best race of the year and if i can be annoying and gloat for a while... I was right there when raikkonen took schumi outside eau rouge and had a view of the bus stop when montoya took him there. Excellent race, great fun and f3000, mini series (which we wont talk about) and porsche supercup on the same weekend, it was truly the best ever. Especially porsche car 20 regularly getting eau rouge wrong in the wet! I was gonna do monza general admission but didnt bother in the end, would have been an anti-climax to spa.
