Printer Trouble

    Hi all,

    I've a HP 660C printer that won't print for me.

    When I try to print a document the power light on the printer just starts flashing and then the print times out.

    Anyone had this problem before of know what it might be? I'm really stuck for some printing and can't get to town to get it done anywhere else.

    Assuming that all cables, print cartridges, papers are right, I've experienced something like this. I don't know what the flashing lights mean, but my solution was to get the HP printer management tools for the 660C printer, install them and the perform a "reset" diagnostics on this printer. This seemed to "clean-up" whatever when wrong.

    I've seen this with a number of HP deskjet printers, don't know why, just seemed to work. You can get the HP printer toolbox from their site support.hp.com

    I have also seem where the colour ink cartridge goes "faulty" i.e. 51649 cartridge. Once replaced all is well ??
    Don't know why but it works
