[Advice Needed] New Guitar

I'm gonna be spending about 700 on a new guitar sometime soon (money is waiting/burning a hole in my pocket).

My question is, are the pickups in these guitars any good? I've played similar guitars in shops and think they have a tone which would suit my style, but I see people going on about replacing them with 'EMG's and all that, if people do that why dont they just buy 200/300 euro guitars and then replace them? Are the stock pickups decent quality?

The reason people dont buy 200-300 euro guitars and upgrade the pickups is because its not just the pickups that make a guitar sound how it sounds, the wood, the hardware, the strings AND the pickups will determine the sound, and you'll find the higher up the price ladder you go the higher the quality of those pieces (with the exception of strings). But its not all to do with sound, a good quality guitar will stay in tune better, play better, feel nicer etc than a €200 guitar (in most cases). The reason most people change pickups is because they want a higher output, or a thicker tone, or more sustain or better dynamics. But If you feel that a guitar has the tone for you with its stock pickups, then yes they are fine.
