SS 01 Ripper

Sorry to dissapoint you, Muck Savages, but we are most definatly the first irish Tribe, although you guys are probably one of the two only tribes..hehe (i think).
The Starslayer Tribe was founded some 6 months ago. We started out as an irish only Tribe, but then grew into european only. Now we're global, with 90+ members spread throughout Europe, the US and Canada. We are still based in Ireland and our HQ is here, so I do consider us an Irish tribe.
Yeah, I know the game wasn't out 6 months ago, but the message boards were and so was the tribesplayers site.
The reason I claim the Starslayers to be the first Irish (and probably the first European) Tribe, is simply that we were one of the first Tribes anyways and the others were all US.
I know it doesn't matter who was first where, but rather skill. Well, no. Since this is not Quake or any other DM game, but rather a game where everything depends on teamwork and we stress that. Apart from that we're just aiming to have a good time, too

Well, we are recruiting, especially in the European scene, so why not just check us out at www.gibbed.com/starslayer/ (don't bicker about the lack of graphics, we're not artists, we're tribesplayers ), if for nothing less than reading our history and some of the literature that our members wrote while waiting the long wait for tribes.

Hmm - a horribly cool thought just hit me. How about Starslayer Tribe Vs. Muck Savages and Allied Tribes battle for supremacy on the IGN server in the not too ditant future ??

In other words, we get as many SS, MS and merc tribesmen as possible on the same server and have a rather large mosh.

tribes is more than quake in open spaces, and yes i think it is appropriate to have some role-playing, i know of a tribe that only lets people in that do role-play in the tribe's universe (Raven Nation). Besides, I'm sure they wouldn't have put up the four main tribes and the timeline if they weren't expecting some roleplaying.
