Looking for bands for a compilation

Any bands interested in getting their music included on the next Smalltown America compilation?

Jetplane Landing-run label Smalltown America are currently putting the finishing touches to the fifth volume in their series of Public Service Broadcast compilations, and are now looking for contributors to volume 6. PSB is based on a rather simple concept, that all profits from one release will fund subsequent releases. You won't make a cent, but neither will the label.

    Here's what you do:

Provide a track, free of charge. Thats it. No legal crap to deal with, no contracts to be signed, nothing.

    Here's what Smalltown America do:

Compile the CD, get it pressed, and sell it through the label's website (and at Jetplane Landing shows). All profits from the sale of the compilation will help fund subsequent PSB releases.

Irish bands previously featured include Throat, The Dudley Corporation, Fighting With Wire, Yakuza, and Rodan. PSBs has also featured some fine UK talent, including Ivroy Springer, Distophia, Fickle Public, The Dopamine Theory, Hyper Kinako and The Go! Team. Irish acts have been significantly under-represented to date, and since half of JPL are Derry boys, they'd like to see that change.

If you are interested, check Smalltown America or e-mail info@smalltownamerica.co.uk

Bands featured on previous PSBs can be seen here

Note: This is not a scam!!! Any concerns you have raise them with the STA by e-mail.

    Thanks.
