TG4 weirdness

Can anyone explain what the new TG4 "Luas" ident is all about? It is just bizarre, it must be mushroom season down in the Gaelteacht or something.

Looks like he's pumping (edit: it's "puffing" innit?) out his chest with pride or whatever the phrase is. Or perhaps he's scaring away other male robins or just has a bad dose of tummy gas.

tg4 have a tendency for wierd things like that... such as the woman shaving her head, the girl looking in the mirror and then fighting with her reflection (twins, obviously), and the car park where all the cars start to slide downwards....

who knows what their getting at, it may be some deep and meaninful crap, it may just be wierd for the sake of wierd.

i like tg4, always has great films and good documentaries....like ''giant'' that was on monday night , with james dean...classic.....anyone see ''lsd 1973''??..now that was phucked up cheesiness....which i like at the right moments...
