I recieved a free voucher which allows me to take my car and up to 5 passengers over to the uk, and as all my holiday time is used up.

I am thinking of going ona saturday and returning sunday the port we sail to is holyhead, any ideas of places we could go in a day, i'll be taking my wife, mother in law and our 10mth old baby with me.

I've done some searching on the web but not really sure of driving distances involved?

Due to my passengers it will be a shopping trip so any big malls near holyhead we could go to?

for travel distances and times use the AA route planner, it will give you perfect directions. i don't think liverpool is too far away?

Try Chester, it's on the Wales/England border. About an hour from Holyhead.

For the record Holyhead is a kip

I'd agree with chester,I done that in a day about a month ago.
It's an hour and a half though unless you are driving like the hammers but almost all dual carriageway and is a lovely city.
Lots of shopping there with all the usual big names and some pedestrianised streets.
    Lots of nice café's too.

And yes holyhead is fading into a kip.
