Limiting Bandwidth

Hey, Recently i've noticed that mirc is causing counter-strike to spike every few seconds. The ping jumps to around 100 and back again. Its getting really annoying but i'd rather leave irc open to keep in contact with my clan. Is there anyway of limiting mircs bandwidth with a 3rd party program or maybe a script for irc?…

Hey,

Try Netlimiter.

It's excellent for restricting upload and/or download speeds for individual programs.

let us know how you get on with netlimiter and if it actually solves the spiking problem. ping 100 you must be on dsl? mirc shouldnd do that much damage to your ping???
