Marathon problem

I downloaded Marathon 1 and the adelph one program from bungie. Its working okay but I can't get the mp3 music workingf with it. I put it in the m1a1 track and audio folder and the names are all correct. However there still isn't any music in game. Any ideas on how to fix this?
