    Couple of Questions lads:

    1. How much are Sky chargng for a full new install? I already have a sky dish up and have a quad LNB.

    2. Can you downgrade your package before the year is up without penalty?

    3. How much is Sky+ for a fresh install?

    4. Anything else I should be wary of in view of point 1b?

    Sky+ is €299 for box. Installation is free for new customers but €75 for existing sky customers.

    Appalling rip off of existing customers, just goes to show Sky's lack of loyalty to its regular IRISH customers
    Can anyone tell me the in's/out's of unsubscribing from Sky especially after they raised the subscription again

    hi folks

    thats scandalous €75 for install.....whats to stop u unsubscring and reapplying for SKY+ and getting it for €299? has anyone done it?

    if thats the case thats what im going to do or put it in my GF's name...

    Also am i better ordering direct from SKY? or getting it done local....im in Galway city BTW so does anyone know of any installers?

    install of Sky + is free for existing customers if they are subscribed to any of the premium channels ie sky sports or movies. I bookded Sky+ with Sky the other day and they are installing it on August 13th.

    When i got free install i had to sub to sky world for 1 month and then i could cancel after the 1st month.
