Snowblood/Easpa Measa Fred Zeppelins Cork Sunday July 18th :

With Snowblood from Scotland you are as likely to hear blastbeats as slow doom, and you are as likely to hear melancholy melodies as crazy noise, their appearance at warzone last year in belfast was one of the highlights of the weekend. Check out their website at http://www.snowblood.com theres a track from their new album The human tragedy there also

Easpa Measa are Irish crust/grind based out of dublin with emotional slow sludge moments. Stirring harmonies on certain tracks mix textures of
distortion, melody and chunky, doom-laden guitars. Dual male growl/female yell vox all over the place. They have an online presence at http://www.easpameasa.com

Seeing as the bar has to close at 11pm on Sundays this will kick off at approx 9pm

Coldwar are back to Cork again after a 15 month gap since their last visit they're bringing their hate filled brand of metal fused with hardcore and everything else in the heavy music spectrum to bear down on us again. They are online at http://www.coldwar667.com

With them are Scottish Crust Violence noisemakers Filthpack from Aberdeen whose demo was music to my ears on receiving it there a month back. You'll be able to hear some tracks from it at this link http://www.hxcmp3.com/bands/8971/ Check out their website at http://www.filthpack.com

Opening up the evening will be Cork death metallers Dominus who will be airing some new tracks along with the older classic tunes in advance of their trip to the other end of the country to darker days II in Donegal at the end of the month. They are on the web here http://www.d0minus.tk/
