hi, my brother bought a targa laptop 1300 about 2 years ago. he got infected with a virus and had to reload os. he lost all the cds that came with it except work suite. he used my xp disc to install and suprisingly the activation worked.
his system keeps on locking up every so often and he needs the drivers that came with it. he tried emailing targa but they wouldn't reply and he searched their website but couldn't find anything. could anybody upload them to me? they are probably only 5mb or so

thats a good website but dosn't have drivers under the machine that he has. he already dl s3 drivers for vga but he dosn't know what other drivers are needed, so if somebody lists all the stuff on the original cd then that would help.

I've a Targa 1300 as well and the same thing happens to me despite all the driver updates (so annoying, grrr). I found the latest BIOS update helped a good bit though. Get them from www.targo.co.uk -> Service (sorry I can't give you further because the website is really slow for me at the moment).

Just looking at disk the drivers are not to big. The disk is only 48mb anyway. Is there any driver you need in particular I could perhaps ICQ file transfer them to you.

    Drivers are listed as
    4in1 1.53mb
    Audio 6.33mb
    Ir 125kb
    Lan 2.69mb
    Modem 11.6mb
    PCMCIA 156kb
    VGA 19.2MB

There as a untility and read me files totally about 5mb as well

I'm on single line isdn so a transfer of all file would take about 2 hours and 30 mins. But we could break that up over a couple of nights. But if you only need a couple of them then we can do in one go.

i don't expect anyone to transfer that sort of size over isdn. can i let you know which ones he needs in a week or two cos i am going away for a a few days 2morrow? thanks
