ESB / Luas

    I know I have been criticising the Luas a lot recently but it's good fun and an easy target.

    So what the hell, here's my next twist.

    Suppose the ESB do go on strike, have the Luas got their own independent power supply or do we all bring 2 AA batteries as well as the fare?

    If this happens - none of your Pound Shop cheap batteries - get good Duracell ones or no-one will get to work.

    Most of the surface along the luas line is cobbled. Reason? Easier for horses to get a grip when pulling the LUAS.

    (cue photoshop opportunity)

    no they have a back-up. excersise bikes hooked up to dynamo's are being installed as we speak

    Like the DART, LUAS will stop as will the traffic lights. Chaos spread equally accross all modes of transport.
