    Hi,

Just wondering if anyone here has worked at, or knows someone working at Apple in Cork. What kind of employers are they?

    Cheers,
    Tom.

My friends dad works there. He is one of their senior workers so I don't know if that is what type of employee you are looking for. Basically tehy are very good employers though. They provide frequent breaks to their employees and have recreation rooms about the place. I think they also have a gym there too. I think they make you take breaks often aswell.
However tehy are an American company so expect it to be tough at the same time. Long hours may have to be put in.

    Hi there

a friend of mine recently applied to Apple, to work in the call centre. The pay was utter crap, for starters, and surprisingly, he was required to do two sales a month (even though he would be working in the technical support dept.). Also, he was told that the pressure is on all the time, as in 2 minutes ACW (after call work) for example, if you exceed that at any time you have to get "coaching" right away, etc. So I wouldn't say that the work conditions would be too fanciful. That said, I don't know what kind of position you'd be applying for. Hope this helps

    Rgds
