Took a 5900xt 3-4 weeks to arrive but that was over xmas when the 5900xt popped its clogs i was send a 9800pro which only took 3 days to get to me

You can still track the parcel from parceforce uk site or you could back then anyway

I got a HDD and XP pro from them and it took less than a week IIRC. Their tracking said "Arrived: Dublin" for a couple of days, then I got it.

if you order more than three items they give you no choice in what shipping option you take which is really bad.

But it never seems to go over £22, for a monitor and case etc I'm sure its still £22.

aye it's fair enough when it's a case and monitor but my order from monday consisted of

    MSI bluetooth Dongle
    Func Gaming Mousemat
    Plantronics Audio 90's

and they charged £22 for a 48hour delivery which didn't happen and arrived a day late, which i had taken a day off work to accept the package on the wednesday (ordered monday).

this is the only thing wrong with ocuk other than their delivery options they're are great.

if komplett can have a 24 hour service from norway/holland why can't overclockers UK have a 24 hour service from the UK?

yes komplett have a dhl 24 hr option only costs 99 euro to have a 17" tft delivered

    overclock.co.uk

I have ordered from obverclockers and overclock but found that overclock are much better on delivery to Ireland, I ordered a ThermalTake 480W PSU at 15:40 and had it by 15:00 the next day. Cost £17 for next day delivery. This contrasted with a 3 week wait for an XP3000+ from overclockers.

Price wise I also find them better and they put the prices in Euro on their website.

Ordered a few things from overclockers, the package took from 2-5 days to arrive.

I always went for the cheapest option, and had them shipped to work.

    Very happy with them :)

3 days for my mobo, cpu and ram.

Ive ordered a lot from them and it always takes 3 days. ( over a peroid of a 2 yrs. Ordered wednesdayt afternoon had monday mornin). This it cost £22

However i ordered a full Vapochill case from watercooling.de. Shipping cost me €30 and also took 3 days. German post is nice and cheap it seems :)

    ok it took 3 days
gls just left it on my door step
    but all is well

overclockers.co.uk normally only take a few days, if you need to track a parcel being delivered by gls than its Gls than just click on tracking and traceing. But the best way is to ring Gls 01 8606200.

Ordered on monday and recieved it the following monday. They messed up my delivery address, as it only read , Mr J Smith, Galway. Got a call at 7:45am from GLS wanting to know where in Galway it was going to be delivered on the Thursday. expected it that day but nooooo, had to wait till Monday. address is correct now so should be fine for any other orders.

The same thing happened with komplett, can nobody every sort billing address from delivery address

Only 2 items and i still had to pay the £22, then again i didn't know any better. :(

    Timeout

i guess its normaly practice with gls to leave 900 euro worth of pc parts on someones doorstep?
they never even ask be for a signature upon reciept when i am at home

    very dodgy company

I do my best to avoid ordering from any company that useds GLS for their delivery - the delay, pain and suffering inflicted by GLS makes paying extra for delivery from someone else a small price to pay for not having to take days off work to chase packages and be generally lied to "we called but you were not there", "he didn't have any dockets left" etc.

I would love to use komplett again but their continued use of GLS shows a certain level of contempt for their customers. Also if you order from a US company that uses USPS for delivery you will end up with extra charges and get to play hunt the parcel with GLS.

My experiences with GLS have put me off OVerclockers too. Parts left in a neighbours house (who I don't know) parts left on doorstop. Etc.

I ordered all parts for a new PC, case, monitor mobo etc, delivered to Sligo in 2 days.

Overclockers have always delivered quickly for me. I ordered RAM from them on a monday at lunch time last year and it arrived on Tuesday at 11.

Overclockers.co.uk have delivered in 2.5 to 3 days on both occasions that I've ordered from them recently. I think this is ok timewise considering I live in rural Kerry. Would expect that delivery time would be shorter if living in Dublin since I assume that's where the stuff first enters the country.
