Oxegen No Tickets Advice

I put an ad in the buy and sell last Friday. It was for 2 Saturday tickets. It only arrived in the mag this Tuesday, they were both sold by then.
When I initially put up the ad the tickets had not sold out. What happened was not expected.

The ad arrived on Tuesday.
Between 8.30 and 9.30 on Tuesday morning I had received 15-20calls (I only answered two, and said No). I also received ~ 7 texts messages within this time frame.

At 9.30 I diverted all calls to my phone to a message saying tickets were sold out. This divert will be on my phone until Friday night. Hopefully by then it will have stopped.
Over the last few days I have received, at least 60text messages.

If the same ratio of text messages to phone calls occured as between 8.30 and 9.30 on Tuesday morning, that is at least 120 phone calls made to me.

And that is the most conservative estimates on both the text messages and phone call front. I didn't actually count all the texts, but I'd say it could be twice that.

I am not at all exaggerating.

If you do not have a ticket at this stage, the chances of you getting one are zero to none.

If you go down on the Friday or Saturday be prepared to pay at least 3 times face value.

Sunday might be better.

I think I speak for all of the people looking for tickets when I say:

Sh!t.

Also the fact that every ticketmaster I went to/my friends went to said to 'try buy&sell' may be a reason for the incredible amount of calls you got.
