Bachelors Walk

Well, for those of you that don't know, RTE`1 are re-showing what I think is last years season of Bachelors Walk on Tuesday nights at 9.30. I know this show isn't everyones cup of tea but I think it's alright.

Anyway - on to the point - anyone know if there are plans for a new season, or a DVD release of the second or third seasons?

havent heard anything to say they are making a new one?

Got an email from RTÉ a while back saying that the DVD release was nothing to do them, and i should email some other crowd.

Never got around to emailing that other crowd.

Its on the to do list.

Emphatically no. Everyone (directors&writers, RTE, Producers) has gone on the record to say the 3rd series is defintely the last.

Just finished watching the first series again on DVD last night - excellent stuff!

Had a look on sendit.com (formerly blackstar.co.uk), play.com, amazon.co.uk, hmv.co.uk. etc etc but none of them have even season 1.

I get the suspicion that because it was primarly an Irish program it won't be carried by any of the uk based sites.

I also found the old site on rte.ie here but it only has info on the second series.

There isn't any contact details for anyone on this site (for info) so I might just try a generic email to rte and see how I get on - in case irishgeo doesn't get anything.

I suppose it's no harm to go into the local Golden Discs/Xtra-Vision/record shop and ask... they may hame some info or be able to check a release list...... who knows???

i never did find the email but i did find a number for the company that produced it.

yeah it came out at xmas last year probably the saame this year i would imagine more people would buy it at xmas marketing!!
