x box price

im just wondering how much an x box with a few games costs in game now , im thinking about getting my boyfrend one for his birthday and dont have a clue how much they cost or anything about them

I think they are around 200 for the basic deal which comes with one controller and 2 games(halo+midtown madeness)

Search around for the best deals/bargains

For DVD playback, it requires a DVD remote(around 30euro)

My gf got me one, and it rocks(although i chipped it myself and stuck in a 200gb Hard Drive)

But around 200-250 should get you it.

A second controller would be handy if you wanna xbox with him

cool thanks i could only get prices in £ all over the internet , deadly i heard him on about halo a few times , yea he has a p2 with a multi tap so id say he`d want the 2nd controller , just to whoop my ass on it

check out buyandsell.ie for them. I got one recently second hand--200euros for one with 2 controllers and 11 games. Am very happy with it also as it was alot cheaper than getting one new.

I think game have put out an xbox bundle w/ halo, midtown madness and Full Spectrum warrior for around 250. Thats an educated guess btw, i dont know the actual price. (Full Spectrum Warrior is the buisness).

Try Gamestop on Henry street. I bought an xbox there a week or two back, and at that stage they beat Game on prices and bundles. There's a Game on Henry St. too, across the road near enough if you wanna compare prices.

I think Virgin (also on Henry St.) have a special at the moment (downstairs) where you can pickup two 'classic' games for €40/50. (Halo is a classic game, for example).

i wont be in dublin though , i kinda have to get it in waterford , kilkenny or clonmel because im kinda stuck down here for the next few weeks now , but thanx anyways ,

I sold Xbob with 2 games(Halo and Midtown Madness) with 2 controllers for 150 a few months back! thats around wat they r sellin for on boards/buy&sell!! at tis stage no point buyin a new one cause plenty of them on sale second hand!!

and a fine one it was too. perfect condition.

its since been modded and runs all my games and movies. don't forget a samsung drive unit might set you back a few more euros than a a thompson or Philips. if you don't need it then you can prob pick one up for €120.

ah no id be worried itd break and then he`d be like we`ll`have to take it back where s the receipt , and i`d be like ehh ring this guy , it`d look scabby especially for a 21st present , if it was just for meself i`d go 2nd hand but yea not for a gift

Argos r usually more expensive for consoles than normal electronic shops I have found unles they have a special on!!

Forgot to mention, its the halo+mm3 bundle plus a choice of 2 games from there 2 for 50 euro section, you'd still pickup some good games tho
