So goin to witnness (or oxegen if ya wanna be pedantic about it) and i was wondering if anyone else has experience wearing contacts/glasses at it.

I went before and my glasses nearly got smashed in the crowds but if i wear contacts ill probably get mud in them

My idea is wear the contacts and have fluids and stuff with me for the night and bring my glasses just in case and maybe a spare pair of contacts (monthlys in case anything bad happens)

Anyone else worn contacts to it before?

i wouldnt suggest contacts coz if you get a hit on the back of the head(which does happen) they could fall out, leaving you blind and open to ridicule,
i wear glasses and at any of the previous gigs i just take em off before i mosh/surf,hell of a lot handier

    thats true,
    are the contacts disposable?
if so,bring a few pairs but keep your glasses on you just in case,oh and some baby wipes to clean your hands incase you need to remove/insert more contacts

cling film on the glasses ?

you can get protective visors in B&Q / woodies but they don't look that fetching.

Soft contacts are preety good thes days, I've never had them knocked out before. You will be grand, but take your specs anyhow.
