Places to go + golf

Ok i'm going to Ireland for 2 weeks in the beginning of august (not sure on the dates would have to check at home). We're flying with Aer Lingus from Amsterdam to Dublin. Then from Dublin we're driving south towards Cork and we'll spend a week there, after which we'll drive back to Dublin and spend another week there.

Now i have few questions. Since we (my parents and my brother who is 25, i'm 23 btw) are big golf enthousiasts does anyone have any tips on what courses to play on around Cork and Dublin. We don't really need to play on the _TOP_ courses because they are always pretty expensive, and i'm guessing there are plenty of very nice courses for a reasonable price in Ireland. Some websites would be nice or some personal experiences from people and maybe even some green fees if you know them.

Secondly, if we're having a day off from golf or if the weather is really crap are there any decent sightseeing places we should visit or just general nice places to travel to and walk about or something. I enjoy taking pictures of scenery and wildlife (if it's there ) so any ideas are welcome.

Any help to make this cloggy have a nice holiday is much appreciated :)

oh and some tips on where to eat would be good too as we've rented a timesharing house and probable can not be arsed to cook for ourselves :p
