Well lads as you may or may not know the Senior Euronations was on this weekend, I'm home in Dublin about an hour or so & it has to be said that it was a great shoot! Congrats to the organisers, it all went really smoothly and the grub was great!

As for the shooting most of the categories were dominated by the English archers (eg. Overall Combined Team, Ladies& Gents Recurve/Compound Team& Individual...)
Basically they did very well and the other countries had the odd individual placing. Fair play to them, they put in some very good scores.

The second day was an Open comp. and unfortunately the English Team and the Welsh Team had to leave early and couldn't shoot the second day at all. That did mean that the prizegiving was quite different today. The Irish team shot extremely well, with personal bests shot by a couple of archers. We also won the small nations trophy (which is for the countries with incomplete teams,we were short one lady compound). The results should be up on the net soon, hopefully!

There were TV3 cameras there and we were on the news apparently, we don't know whether it was on last night or tonight. We missed it, due to shooting. Let us know if you see any media coverage please!

Hi to all. This is my first post on the conference.

I attended the Galway Euronations as a member of the team from Guernsey. It was my first major shoot away from home and I really enjoyed the experience. My thanks to the organisers and fellow archers who helped me feel at home.

My score wasn't too good. I expected to be a little daunted by the occasion but I was more daunted by the wind and the looooong day. (At home, FITAs finish before 1700. We're normally on our third pint by the time the Euronations finished!) However, I was placed 18th so at least I wasn't last.

I look forward to seeing you all again in England next year and in Guernsey in 2006.
