PC equivalent of AudioHijack?

    OK maybe it's a tad bit risque asking this question in a forum like this but does anyone know an application that runs on a PC (Windows XP) and performs a similar function to the Macintosh-compliant AudioHijack.

    For those who may not know, AudioHijack is a wonderful piece of software that allows you record and edit any digital sound file on a Mac. Unlike iTunes, it allows you to record snippets of CD tracks into MP3 format or allows you to save and convert streaming audio into MP3 format.

    Having recently been 'migrated' from Mac to PC at work, I find that the application I miss most is Audi Hijack, for which there appears to be no Windows version.

    Anyone know of a similer application that works with Windows? And where I may get it?
