Looking for illustrators

We're just starting a new project and I'm looking for a number of artists to contribute to what we're doing.

The work will involve characterisation and illustration for a book. The basic genre is a mix of science fiction and horror but it's not a bug-eyed monster book.

Ideally I'd like to have three or four different people working on this (there will be quite a lot of artwork to generate by the end of the project) so that we get some variety of style but because of the nature of what we're doing everyone does need to work together in order to stick with the "theme".

So, in summary, if you've got talent and you'd like to be involved in producing work that will go into print please send me a PM. We'll be selecting based on style and your ability to get excited about the project so be prepared to show us what you have and also to produce a couple of test pieces.

Cool, what are your rates and conditions?

This project is very cool indeed. It's a really exciting creative opportunity for everyone involved (especially those involved from an early stage) both on the writing and illustrating side of things.

We've just started putting together the two teams of people who're going to be working on this project. The contracts are still being written and the rates for contributions/share ownership of the completed works will only be worked out when we've completed the project plans and can see what it is going to cost us to put this thing together.

This is also going to depend on the quality of the work we can find. I'm looking in various different places for possible contributors but would be most grateful if anyone who "knows someone who knows someone" who might be of the calibre we're after would pass on the message and get in contact.
