big problem win2k, some1 help

    right, pc in work, on it atm,
    they booted up this morning and they got a error about mising profile and something about may cause damage and the likes,
    came into work asked me about it, checked everything, documents and settings, no files to be seen, in administrator folder or any other for that,

    the thing is they have loads of important documents and excel files and they really need them, it was tracking alot of money..

    anyways, can any1 shed any light on this, any way of retrieving the files, nothing comes up in search, btw its like its a new install of windows,

    any help appreciated,
    all there email a/c;s and stuf are gone aswell:/
