Does anyone know what the difference is between WW & Unslim?

My girlfriend used to go and according to her the main difference is just that WW uses "points" and US uses "units" to restrict their dieters.

For example, WW might say that you can eat 16 "points" a day and then they break all the different types of food into how many points they contain.

Similarly for US, they break all the food types down into "units" and you might be allowed eat say 10 units in one day.

Hope this makes sense. As far as I know they bought weigh you every week and set you a target weight and tell you how many units/ points you should be eating everyday.

According to my girlfriend they're much the same, however once you reach your target weight in WW you dont have to pay as long as you hold your target weight.

Hope this helps you a bit.

Anyhoo I know they do points/units but I think unislim have phases of stuff you can/can't eat that last a week or something like that - was just wondering how that worked...

tk123 - just to let you know that there was a supplement in the Ireland on Sunday yesterday all about Unislim - might be worth a look if you can get your hands on a copy.
