    I'd say:

    Peter Cech

    Carlos Puyol
    Jorge Andrade
    Ujfalusi
    Nuno Valente

    Andy van der Meyde
    Pavel Nedved
    Zinidine Zidane
    Fredrik Ljungberg

    Wayne Rooney
    Henrik Larsson

For one, Jorge Andrade is a central defender, and I'd also pick Larsson ahead of Tomasson because of the work he does outside of the box.

Zidane doesnt play up front either but i would play him there.

And while we are at it
    Left Back Jorge Andrade
    Right Back Costinha

Andrade is a CB and Costinha a midfielder...

Costinha and Andrade have provided more on the gins than in their respective positions.
Are you watching the same matches as me? How may times have either player been raidfing down the wing.
They the reason Portugal can afford Figo to roam.
Gattuso has been exceptional passing and tackling shame he was suspended for the last game.

    Anyway its my team :D

Just to let everyone know, his name is Lahm, not Lahn. Whoever doesn't have him in their team mustn't have seen him play, he's only 20 and is probably my player of the tournament so far.

Ya Lahm is quality , his quality of vision and quality of passing is the best ive seen for a defender in a long time .

IMO It's a toss up between him and Carvahlio ... his [Lahm] passing and crossing ability is great ... bit cynical in the drag back of Poborsky last night though!

Cynical maybe, some might call it "professional", something you would expect (and did see some) from experienced compaigners like Nesta. He hardly got to the top by being Mr Nice. Lahm looks some player indeed.

Personnally I wouldnt have Zidane in it. Bar a couple of set pieces I dont think hes done anything. Definately agree with Lahm tho, hopefully hes not just a flash in the pan.

Yeah, funnily enough that was the last position I filled in.

Couldn't think of a single outstanding RB in the tournament so I used my 'Jam in as many Czechs as possible' fallback plan. Poborsky played RB v Latvia.

May I recommend Seiteridis to you ?
