Any one else watching this? I've only seen the first one but it looked pretty cool. Robocop is in it and they say fuck and everything.
Did the alien dude reveal exactly how the Earth got borked in the first episode? I was flicking around in the add break and I must have missed it if he did. Anyone know?

Nope, he always arrives too late. Now that there are survivors, he can send their minds back in time to discover why it happened (he doesn't know himself).

Not a bad show, but TV3 should post a warning before the show to say that
"Oh, by the way, the series was canned after series 1. Sorry".

I didn't see it when it got its Sky run but apparently the last few episodes were pretty good so it might be worth sticking with it, cancellation notwithstanding.

The plots weren't great in this, but the characters I really enjoyed - some decent acting here. However, it does annoy me like fcuk when TV3, and their ilk, fail to advertise a pertinent point about the show's future....

    neither do Sky one
they never announce when a show is cancelled like Brimstone, Crusade and the recent Jake 2.0 to name a few

I would hardly blame Sky for this. It is isn't that hard to find out on the internet what the ongoing status of any show is. Also Sky showed 3 or 4 episodes of Jake 2.0 which were unaired in the U.S.

chris gorman = kiss of death for a tv show:
Odyssey 5 - cancelled after one season
Jake 2.0 - cancelled before the end of one season(???)
Popular - cancelled cos it wasn't 'popular' enough.

    poor guy.

Don't mean to lower the tone or anything but there is usually a good smattering of nudity in it also.

I saw it all when it did it's run on Sky. Sky treated it badly near the end.....changing timeslots and skipping weeks. Consequently I missed a few episodes and had to download them. If your watching it hoping to discover all the answers to why the Earth blew up you'll be greatly disappointed. There are hints and a few conspiracies uncovered but it'll leave you wanting more. You're nearly better off cutting your losses now and finding something else to do during that hour.
