How do you put lipstick/lip balm on?

I read a comic recently that claimed that people in Japan put lipstick/lipbalm on their lower lip first, then on their upper lip whereas people do the opposite in the Wesht. I've always done it the Japanese way even though I'm not from there.

So, how do ye do it?

Am I turning Japanese, do I think I'm turning Japanese....(cue annoying song)...

I'm from the quagmire of west Clare and it;s the bottom lip first for me. But I am so far west, I could actually be east -

Anyhoo, bottom lip all the way.

I rarely use lip balm because I don't have chappy lips, only very rarely in Winter (lucky me!), um actually the last time I used lip balm was 3 years ago, I did put it from top to bottom.

Well, I don't use lip balm cause my lips are grand!

But if I were to I say I would use many tubes at once and apply to both lips simultaneusly (sorry i can't spel). This way no lip is over applicated!
I'd say doing the top first makes more sense cause otherwise, you would probly rub the bottom one a bit while applying the top.


On a tottaly seperate topic there always something a bit queer about guys with shiny lips!

I think you'll find 'I eat the balm and my saliva then lubricates my face' to be the best manly way....:D
