    I have a linksys befw11s4v2 wireless router and a netgear wireless router...

    Ideally I'd like the netgear to handle the adsl connection and act as an AP in one room, but I'd like to use the linksys in another room to handle the wired network in there and provide net access wirelessly via the netgear.. is this possible?

    | ADSL |->|Netgear|<-wifi->||<-wifi->|Linksys|

    Cheers,

    lph

    Unless your wireless router/modem and wireless router support WDS (wireless distribution system), then I'm afraid you won't be able to connect them up wireless. You'll need a long network cable to connect to your wireless router for it to act as another AP in your other room.
