I noticed a post there about Ryan Tubridy. Man, hes's a head wrecker. He was allright at the start, but he got too cocky. Always playing bloody Frank Sinatra et al.

Breakfast Express on SPIN1038, now thats a funny show. Lucky Jim, The Hooky Monster, Mad Out Of It FM, the list goes on and on. I urge anybody who hasn't checked them out, to listen in some morning. Joe and Keith are masters.

once you start listening to The Full Irish its like you become addicted. even though Ryan Tubridy is a spa. It will be hard trying to break the morning cycle listening to that fool but ill give it a shot.

He must be the most annoying person on radio. He's even more annoying than Gerry Ryan. And that's feckin hard. The Today FM breakfast show is the only real option.

Tell me.... what exactly is wrong with playing Frank Sinatra et al? I find this to be alot more refreshing than constantly hearing the black eyed peas, britney, kylie et al at least once every hour on every other radio station. Give me Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Perry Como etc...etc... any day of the week. I think this Tubridy guy plays quite a bit of decent music on The Full Irish...

aye, I like ryan tubridy's taste in music. the only thing i dont like is the fact you hear about 1 song an hour!!! There was one stage where everyone was giving out to him On Air and you could telll they were Generally p1ssed off at him for bringing up personal matters. Adrian Kennedy Rocks and so does Gery Ryan. The Best DJ is Robin Williams:) those who will have seen 'Good Morning Veitnam' will understand!

im with dr loon on this one. i love the full irish. its a complete breath of fresh air in comparison to the strawberry alarmclock et all. used to listen to that years ago but once i stopped i wouldnt/couldnt go back. tried to listen to SA one morning a few months ago and found it incredibly childish, and there always seemed to be some annoying jingle going off.

give me the rat pack any day in comparison to that.

The Full Irish Is the most Childish radio show out there!! But i know what you mean, Once you start listening, despite how crap you think it is you cant stop listening to it!!
I hate the live shows they do, most of his jokes are not even funny!!The only good thing about the Full Irish is the guy who does the impressions, shane i think!

Oh and one more think. My friend got a holy moley mug when tubridy was doing a gig at the jess in Galway. by getting him to sign a contract stating he would give out 3 holy mole mugs to him and his friends. i think he used that lead sheet that you put under paper to make a copy of something. but the point is they're plasticy peices of sh1te.

I find 98fm's Morning Crew to be great. God I've listened to them every morning since primary school, aaaages ago.

Yes i do, the Breakfast Express is the funniest thing on radio, i make sure i stay awake in the mornings to hear it.

Mad out of it FM is halerious as is Air Finglas. Breakfast Express beats the hell out of the Strawberry Alarm Clock.

Does anyone remember freedom fm. it was a pirate station that played total requests. then suddenly one day all hte pirate stations went off air because of a huge police raid. Leaving only a few to return with a liscene . I think hot fm was one of the only ones to come back. Those were the days.

Oh and for some odd reason last year during the high pressure, i was in Roundstone, Connemara, Galway, the other side of Ireland to Dublin and we were goin through the diffrent frequencys. to the point, we came across the Adrian kennedy phone show on Fm 104. Fm 104 being a local dublin station reaching no further than kildare.

Can a high pressure band or weather effect the distance traveled by radio waves? ive heard of radio waves bouncing off the stratosphere and stuff?
