Can't say I've noticed. What seems to be different? Will have a closer look today - can't wait for the Danmark-Bulgaria match to kick off. Sweden-Italy should be a cracker too!!

Every tourney the netting are different ,their is usually a design in them like "Euro 2004" or a logo.

its not a logo or anything its just way the ball hits the net it just doesnt seem right. its very different to the netting in the premiership and i guess thats what im used to.

TBH I don't see anything radically different about them but all I wanna say is that whatever you find wrong(?) about them as they currently are they can't be any worse than the 'traditional' Portugese nets from the 1980's and 90's. Anyone remember them?

They were these giant ridculous looking things that were at least 12feet deep and you'd probably have needed to launch a ball from a Bradley tank just to get a decent ripple off one of them. I could be wrong but I think Portugal was the only country that seemed to ever have them. Glad they got rid of em anyway.

yeah i remember those huge nets.. they were ridiculously deep...

One thing i really hate is nets that you cant see properly on tv... they are usually black or blue or some colour like that...

nets should be white and clearly visible..

but i do know what you are saying about the nets in this tournament... there's something just not 'right' about them...

I ****ing hate white nets, you can't see the ball in them, whatcha need is black nets with a white ball, to get a clear differentiation!

But the balls are silver in Euro 2004...

There is something wrong with the nets. When ever someone one scores your just not sure if its gone in or wide or on top of the net. I think its cause they are black nets and we are used to the white nets in the Premiership.

I have noticed that all the nets are anchored at the base by a white strip either side and at the back. You can see how deep the net is. It seems to make it more sturdy also and the ball does not nesstle in the bottom corner, it bounces around in the net alot more.

    What am I on about........
