it all started today, when I got back from work, I couldn't connect. After a few resets of the modem and pc, it worked again. Then, in the middle of it, the connection dropped.

In the modem web configuration, the DSL tests all passed, except the Ping one, which is supposed to fail, I think. Also modem lights were all as they should be.

This is the first time it happened, I'm a bit lost. What should I look for, if this happens again? Could it be something on my side?

also, is a reset of the modem equivalent to stopping/starting the modem?
