Running Media on a Modded Ps2 ?

i tried this, didnt work, i remember someone posted here (cartman avatar) who said he got it working, cant find his post. Ne experiences ?

Dont bother mate just get an xbox and chip it
it will play anything you want then and plays them a hell of a lot better than a ps2 will

I had it working before.
You know you have to burn the player on the CD along with your media, right?
I tried it with some DivX media...

Results aren't really worth it.. Just tried it for the novelty..

I have a ps2 media player thats works perfect for me.

It plays mp3s, avis as well as jpgs and sum other things.

Very handy with easy to use interface.

It's a long time since I used it but I did burn it on a cdr on its own and used to browse then put in the disk with the .avi files and it works ok

ok thanks guys but i was trying it and the iso turns out to be around more than 700 mb, which is useless since all of my media is around 700mb.

Well it burnt but it didnt work.
