New Food Labeling thingy

Speaking of orange juice - does anybody know any more about this new form of food labeling they're doing now? G.I. index or something. Apparently Tesco's are the first to use it. It gives an indication of how long it takes your body to break it down - so fresh orange segments are supposedly better for you than orange juice because it takes longer for your body to digest the orange segments. In other words, juice gives you an instant sugar rush that wears off quickly while the segments keep you going throughout the day. Nuts are good for long lasting energy too.

Just caught the tail end of it on the news - any links on this would be appreciated.
